Hotel Management intern finds out differences between different Paneer Lababdar, Kadhai Paneer and Paneer Do Pyaaza, awarded full time job

    New Delhi, May 30, 2017: Ankit Verma, a hotel management intern at ITC Maratha Delhi, shocked his bosses on the very first day of his internship when he was clearly able to identify Paneer Lababdar, Kadhai Paneer and Paneer Do Pyaaza in a single attempt.

    ITC Maratha last came in news when they were sued by a family who ordered Kadhai Paneer but were served Paneer Do Pyaaza. On 26th March 2017, Mr. Mishra came to ITC Maratha, Lower Parel Mumbai with his family and ordered Kadhai Paneer. Impressed by Ankit’s knowledge and attention to detail, his university’s Vice Chancellor awarded him Masters in hotel management degree that very day.

    Mr. Mishra’s daughter, Ritika took a photo of the dish and uploaded it on Instagram with caption “#KadhaiPaneer #KadhaiPaneerIsLove and 37 other similar hashtags. One of the Ritika’s friends figured out that the photo was of Paneer Do Pyaza and not Kadhai Paneer. Ritika got trolled all over the internet and went into depression after which Mr. Mishra filed a lawsuit against the hotel staff.

    Nobody in ITC Maratha knew that the intern Ankit was the guy who figured out Ritika’s dish then. Ankit had his fresher’s party where senior ITC officials were also present. Ankit was asked to differentiate among three veg paneer dishes, namely Paneer Lababdar, Kadhai Paneer, Paneer Do Pyaaza. Ankit named all the three dishes correctly and shocked everyone present there.

    ITC Marata hotels CEO, Mr. Panneerselvam noticed Ankit’s talent and asked the College dean to award Ankit Masters in hotel management degree right away.

    FN: First of all Congratulations Ankit, So what next?

    Ankit: Thank you so much. I have decided to dedicate my life in the interest of nation. I’ll teach people how to differentiate various similar looking dishes.

    FN: That’s a very noble cause. Ankit, what change you want to bring to small restaurants in India.

    Ankit: I want them to use mobile wallets so that nobody has to bring change. Haha!
