We were honoured to be in the presence of the President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, to discuss the prospect of the ice cream industry in India. On behalf of all ice cream manufacturers, the IICMA Indian delegation highlighted the ice cream industry’s exponential scope for growth within the country, its potential for export, and the support we provide to allied agro-industries.
She kindly heard our tax-related challenges and our plea to reduce the GST on frozen desserts. We are glad to have had the privilege to be in conversation with the President to carve out a better future for the ice cream industry in India.
