New Delhi, January 15, 2025: As L&T Chairman SN Subrahmanyan made furious headlines for advocating a 90-hour work week, dairy brand Amul shared its take on his controversial remark with a witty doodle.
During an interaction with his employees last week, Subrahmanyan had defended L&T’s six-day work week policy. Furthermore, he added that employees should clock 90 hours a week, suggesting that they even give up Sundays.
“I regret I am not able to make you work on Sundays. If I can make you work on Sundays, I will be more happy, because I work on Sundays,” Subrahmanyan had said in an undated video circulating on Reddit. He further added, “How long can you stare at your wife?” implying employees should prioritise work over time at home.
Sharing its take on Subrahmanyan’s comments, the dairy brand said in its doodle: “Labour & Toil? Amul stares at bread daily.”
According to the reports published in indiatoday.in the image shows a man pointing towards a Sunday on a calendar with the Amul girl looking at it.
