While farmers are cast as an essential asset of this country, and their plight against drought and debt forms news headlines every other day; to curb this, our Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently announced a scheme where farmers and milk producers will be credited with their payments directly to their bank accounts. This action has brought a relief to specifically those farmers who have been burdened with huge debt. With timely payment, they would consequently be able to recover from debt.

    DigitizationAnd Innovation

With an aim to introduce digitization in all industrial, business and education sectors and simultaneously promote the growth of farmers, there are a few organizations in the country who have actively been involved in stimulating this agenda through their activities over some years now. One such company is Prompt Group which began its journey in the industry by developing Automatic Milk Collection System (AMCS) for the dairy industry, also a one of a kind software and thus, considered as the pioneer in Indian Dairy Industry. The group builds and provides various technological solutions to help our farmers, specifically milk producers to earn maximum revenues from their milk business.
As Ritesh Sutaria says, “Our goal is to bring innovation in whatever products we develop, be it for the retail industry or the dairy. We are known to provide modern and comprehensive solutions in the dairy industry that eradicates the middlemen concept and confers direct benefits to farmers.”

    AMCS With Cloud Integration

Ritesh Sutaria describes how he and his team garnered success through this project: “The focal point was to ease out the milk collection process which is the most crucial segment of the other dairy activities. There were many loopholes in the process. As a result, farmers were put in an undesirable dilemma that would not allow them to gain profitable returns in this business.” He continues, “So we opted to build a solution conducive to an uncomplicated and easy milk collection process. The upshot was AMCS. It is a software application installed in systems functioning at Village Dairy Cooperative Societies. Farmers bring the produced milk here and get it tested. The tests comprise of analyzing FAT and SNF content in milk, water proportion present and milk density. All these factors determine accurate values and the quality of milk. These values, further, conclude the remittance given to the farmer for his milk.
With the help of AMCS, accurate values are ascertained that further aids in maximizing returns to the farmer. The sum is immediately credited directly to the farmer’s bank account linked through the internet. As soon as the amount is deposited in the account, the farmer receives a notification of the same and a transaction is recorded in AMCS.

The data so obtained is stored in a centralized database connected to the cloud, and if compromised or manipulated, the same is immediately recorded and notified to the appropriate user. This feature is available in Farmers App designed especially for farmers to provide convenient accessibility to their own data from remote location and at any time. This peculiarity stands out in making AMCS utmost effective and suitable in eradicating the discrepancies which ultimately invites transparency in the entire system; accomplishing the central purpose of AMCS.”

“For us, the farmers’ development and hence the nation is very important. We’re glad and proud to be a part of the nation-building process. We take it as our responsibility to help the mankind in any way we can. If we all come together to make a difference and change people’s lives for the better, we could be successful in unearthing and utilizing the great potential carried within them. And we believe, it takes just one opportunity and right intention to create a better tomorrow.” signs off Sutaria.
