New Delhi, November 17, 2018: Prabhat Dairy Ltd is looking at expanding its goodness centres in tier-II and tier-III towns of Maharashtra to boost retail channels and double its annual revenue, the company’s management said in its conference call following the announcement of its earnings for Jul-Sep.
The company’s goodness centres sell products such as lassi, masala chaas, and milk shakes according to cogencis.com
The Mumbai-based company has over 40,000 distributors in Maharashtra and plans to pick franchisees that have real estate and are willing to invest 400,000 rupees in the business, the company’s management said.
The management plans to spend 80,000 rupees per retail outlet for interiors. The company will also spend around 300 mln rupees in marketing and awareness initiatives around goodness stores and is targeting places where it sells over 4,000 ltr of milk.
Today, shares of Prabhat Dairy ended 3.6% lower at 103.85 rupees on the National Stock Exchange.
